Istria is perhaps my favourite region of Croatia, I visit it regularly… and so far I have not written anything about it. I don’t know why. Maybe my subconscious doesn’t allow it because I want to selfishly keep it to myself, but the beauties that Istria offers are hard to hide.
I finally welcomed spring and decided to rediscover Istria. Istria is packed with fantastic sights and Labin (set up on the hill 320 m above the sea) was a great choice for a short weekend getaway. I have deeply missed the Istrian landscapes and the great activities from walking scenic terrains and towns. I missed eating most delicious food too.
It’s a beautiful thing to create memories with my family, these moments all add up and then I realise they are my life.

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring around Labin. Let me know if you have visited Croatia and how did you like it. If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.
