You have no idea how much I love road trips and singing in the car.

Know all these scenes from movies where people listen to fun music, dance and sing while driving and seem to have a blast? My recent trip with friends (who are as crazy as me and love almost the same music) to the Italian region of Lazio was exactly like that. It was about all the fun breaks, landscapes, sunset, chats… simply everything! I tried to enjoy the trip and don’t worry about things that were in the past or those waiting down the road.

Cruising through the beautiful Italian countryside was only half the adventure. Once we arrived at the final destination and saw this Italian town perched on top of the hill surrounded by nothing but the valley, it was love at first sight. The town is isolated on every side and a footbridge is the only way in or out. It looks like an island to me. Civita di Bagnoregio is perfect to travel back in time as you sip your morning espresso or in our case bottle of wine. Just to inform you this place is more than 2500 years old.
