Sirmione

Italy

Day trips and places that pleasantly surprise me.

Lake Garda whose ends can hardly be seen has breathtaking mountain panoramas and popular gems like Sirmione. City is built on the end of a thin peninsula sticking out from the southern shore of the lake. The defensive fortress is the main entrance to the peninsula. Behind its walls its a labyrinth of narrow alleyways waiting to be explored.

I love going around, seeing, searching, touching, trying, finding, tasting, experiencing places, discovering unknown. Desire for unknown makes everything worth it. I can’t wait for my next adventure.

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Sirmione. Let me know if you have visited Italy and how did you like it. If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.

  1. Aaah, this post brings back wonderful memories! I visited Sirmione a couple of years ago and thought I was stepping into some sort of fairytale. I remember that there were so many ice cream parlors with what seemed like a hundred different flavors. Just wonderful!
