Have you ever been in a town that is so beautiful that you don’t like it?
I was looking forward to a day trip to Colmar. Colmar is a small town located in France’s Alsace region, on the northeastern border near Germany and Switzerland. This adorable small French town has traditional half-timbered houses and uneven cobblestone streets. But is that enough for fairytale town? No. Houses are decorated in vibrant colours, windows have carved hearts and an abundance of overflowing flower pots.
Although I enjoyed spending time here, it was a bit too much for me. I wanted to reduce every corner. How do you like it?

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Colmar. Let me know if you have visited France and how did you like it. If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.

I loved Colmar, it’s one of the prettiest towns I have been to. I was also pretty impressed with the food and wine.

Small towns in Europe are so pretty and have a charm all their own. It would be nice to visit this one and get away from dirty Paris!
