Although it was very hot I spent a wonderful afternoon in Perast. I have been fascinated with learning what I can about places I visit and from people I meet.
One of the best things when traveling is the sense of freedom in many ways, specifically in terms of communicating with strangers regardless of their age or lifestyle. Some of the best conversations I have ever had have been fleeting interactions and in some cases lifelong friendships have been made. Sometimes it’s better to enjoy the company than to try to capture every moment. That’s why I have only few photos from Perast.
Perast has very interesting legends to tell. One of my favourite things I’ve learned is about an artificial island built by fishermen, made of rocks and by sinking old and seized ships loaded with rocks, Our Lady of Rocks.

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Perast. Let me know if you have visited Montenegro and how did you like it? If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.
