Strasbourg

France

I can describe Strasbourg with the only French words I know: petite, très jolie, formidable.

I think our minds aren’t able to maintain a steady level of creativity and intensity without taking breaks, so let’s say I go on holiday for the sake of my career. I love what I do, but few days in an unfamiliar city is enough to recharge my empty batteries. France was an excellent choice.

Whether you’re here for the history and culture, the wine, or like me for the pastries (it was not my initial intention, it just happened), Strasbourg moves at just the right pace for you to spend hours taking it in its sights and flavours at full appreciation. With so many gorgeous sights around the city, I was sometimes torn between snapping a photo or putting the gadgets away to live in the moment.

Strasbourg has a pleasant welcoming vibe and the ease of getting around. The historical part of town is an island surrounded by canal, what makes it special is the half-timbered houses that reflect in the water.

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Strasbourg. Let me know if you have visited France and how did you like it. If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.
