Rab

Croatia

Summer and optimistic days with the golden sun beating down on my back. My vision for an ideal day? Lounging by the sea with dear friends, fragrant pines, sounds of crickets and oversized shades on. The feeling of true euphoria comes in moments when I dip into the sea. When you want to escape it all, sea awaits.

Rab is one of Croatia’s smaller islands and the Rab town is characterised by four bell towers rising from the ancient streets. Sitting by the waterfront at dusk I couldn’t believe how exquisite it is. I had so much fun on the happy island of Rab, no wonder I keep coming back.

TIP: Rab becomes medival centre every July, when it hosts its annual festival Rapska Fjera. For three days, the entire town transports itself back in 15th century.

Try the unique delicacy known as the cake of Rab, a most original souvenir from the island dates back to the year 1177.

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Rab. Let me know if you have visited Croatia and how did you like it. If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.
