First day here I met a Scotsman, Dunedin reminded him of his hometown. I have never been to Edinburgh (yet), but now I can imagine what it looks like.
Arriving in Dunedin after a short flight, I set out on foot in the direction of the beach where I wanted to spend all day. I don’t research much about a destination before I visit, especially if it wasn’t planned like this one. I like to be surprised by what I find. The outcome this time was very positive, I discovered the only castle in New Zealand and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Otago Peninsula. The further away I travel, the more I realize how beautifully diverse this country is.
TIP: A number of walkways give you access to many breathtaking views. The Otago Peninsula is the home of world famous marine wildlife, albatross, penguins, seals, etc.
I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Dunedin. Let me know if you have visited New Zealand and how did you like it. If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.

There’s something about sheep grazing on a beautiful green hillside. New Zealand has been on my list to visit for too long. Your pictures help give me inspiration to make that happen.
