Earthquakes torn this city heart out. Most of the old buildings in the city are gone and are being replaced by modern buildings with a new style.
After suffering devastating earthquakes over the past few years, Christchurch is finally on the rebound. The consequences of the earthquakes are still visible, but one of the best things in Christchurch now is the street art. The artists are transforming blank walls into great works of art across the city streets. Huge murals produced around the city become an attraction, street art museum.
I wanted to make a difference from my usual life rhythm. To see more, to do more and to feel more. I’ve consciously tried to make an effort to enjoying the moment, to spend more time talking to strangers and being outdoors. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of people on this trip and I have to say Kiwis are the friendliest. I was constantly amazed by the kindness of Kiwis, sometimes I thought they don’t even know how to be mean.

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Christchurch. Let me know if you have visited New Zealand and how did you like it. If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.

I saw Christchurch and thought it wold be Dublin but MAN was this beautiful! I love all street art (except when someone puts their name over someone else’s art!) and i would love to see these colors in real life!
