Looking back at these photos from Milan makes me so excited. Even though not my favorite Italian city, if you ever get a chance to spend a few days there it will not disappoint.
The busy streets and all its noise, people laughing out loud and gesticulating with their hands, that’s Italy. The absolute best thing to do in Milan is visit the rooftop of the Duomo. No matter how many times I revisit I still admire at its gothic beauty. This capital of fashion has its contrast, in the old town I was amazed by the architecture and the luxury stores, not so far from there I was disappointed. It always feels strangely going back somewhere where I had an emotion towards previously. Part of me wants to re live it again and the other part doesn’t want to spoil the memory that I’ve had. I’ve visited Milan several times, but each time in different seasons and with different people.
If it’s a clear day, don’t miss climbing up to the roof of the Duomo for a view stretching all the way to the Alps.
