After simple calculation I came to the conclusion that I visited Venice about 20 times and have been lost at least 50 times.
Venice is game of aimless wandering. I’m still not tired of this place. It’s small enough to walk from one end to the other, but I haven’t seen it all. A common occurrence of getting lost allowed me to discover something new every time I visited this floating city. I didn’t stick to the paths conveniently marked with arrows in the direction of major landmarks, obviously. This is really a world of its own, there isn’t much else to do besides getting lost and finding inspiration in every tiny alleyway.
TIP: You don’t want to leave this city without seeing it from the water. I highly recommend using the vaporetto (water bus), the gondola ride can be pretty expensive.

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Venice. Let me know if you have visited Italy and how many times have you been lost? If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.
