My favourite weekend getaway. Every year Croatia is baked at the high 35°C, luckily this place is made for summer.
The town of Baška is located on the south-east of the island of Krk, it is unique and hidden among the mountain slopes, it has many marked hiking trails and numerous pebble beaches. It’s a small place but perfect to combine beach enjoyment with short hikes and beautiful views.
With the heat really setting in, it was time to head for vacation. During summer thousands of tourists alike flock enjoys the sea on the main beach. I loved being back with my friends and just getting the taxi boat to the hidden beaches. Sometimes it’s nice to avoid the crowds. It is such a peaceful moment swimming in the clear blue waters, with no sound beside the birds. Moments like these I cherish the most.
TIP: Heritage Hotel Forza is great place to stay if you’re searching for the perfectly located hotel in the heart of Baška with amazing views of the sea and the whole town.

I hope you like this little photo diary I put together to share my time adventuring through Baška, Island of Krk. Let me know if you have visited Croatia and how did you like it. If anyone has any feedback I’d be so appreciative to receive your comments and questions below.
